Self-improvement without gratitude and humility is just another form of feeling superior over others and boosting one’s ego.

Setting up an automatic top-up is simple because it’s offered as an option when you, well, top-up. However, editing an existing one is actually not as straightforward as one would expect (yes, Revolut UX team, I’m looking at you 🙂). So, in this very short post, I’ll show you how to edit an existing automatic top-up in Revolut.
First, in your Accounts
tab click on the Add Money
button:
Second, click on this small icon on the right-hand side:
Third, edit the amounts and hit Save
:
And that’s it – hope you found this tip useful 💪

Put the damn phone away when you’re supposed to be having a conversation with someone in person. Some love talking about conspiracy theories and how ‘someone up there’ is controlling them. It pains me to see that we (yes, me too, as I’m not some kind of a no-mobile monk) are letting ourselves be controlled by our own devices, and all that to a detriment to our human connections.

Work hard and go the extra kilometer (miles are overrated 😉) even if there’s nothing in it for you. You’ll learn that’s easier to do when you actually love what you do.

At what point do you give up?
I’m not thinking about the average “do only what’s necessary” folks. I’m thinking about the people that have the drive. Those that want to “make it” (whatever that means for them).
Is it when you run out of funding, or when you no longer share the same enthusiasm for the vision, or when you start hitting the point of diminishing returns (granted you already have a certain level of what you’re after)?
I want to believe that we never give up – that we only pivot along the way to new (and mostly better) paths.
So, really, giving up is not an option. Pivoting is more than welcome and, in the long run, a sound strategic tactic.

Jim Rohn said it nicely: “We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.”. And the thing is, one hurts a lot at the moment but brings you joy later, the other doesn’t hurt at all now, but brings you unrepairable sorrow later.
Couple this one with consistency.

If you don’t learn (through some form of introspection) how to deal with the imposter syndrome, you’ll never reach your max potential. I discussed this topic in length on the Devthink podcast.

Seems like not much has changed since Juvenal said this. The bread was upgraded to unhealthy mixtures of salt/sugar/fat that make you crave for more, and the games have indeed become a true plural – enabling one to consume them at almost any hour of the day. The thing is, it’s not necessarily ‘them’ who are trying to ‘control’ you; it’s also the easier choice of an individual – to consume, to escape, and not be ‘bothered’ with what’s really happening in his town/city/country/world. #sunday-blues

If you spend 1 hour a day reading, you’ll read more than 60 books in a year (here’s the math that proves that). What if you get only 1 actionable insight from each of these books? How much do you think you could improve x (whatever area of your life x represents) in a year from now by investing that 1 hour a day?

Besides your undivided attention when you’re with them, and above else the actual quantity of time that you’re with them, what you should give to your children is options to explore what they’re good at, and then teach them the power of discipline to stick to that one thing.
